Proximity Intervention

In 2012, Groupe Harmonie signed a SCLS (Soutien Communautaire en Logement Social) agreement in partnership with OMHM and CIUSSS Centre-Ouest de l’ïle-de-Montréal.

Groupe Harmonie is now active in two HLM towers for seniors and one RPA tower in the Peter McGill district. Through a regular presence in each intervention office, our caregivers offer residents a warm welcome, a listening ear and referrals.

This component helps to fulfill Groupe Harmonie’s mission. Its main aim is to

• Ensure residential stability;
• Break social isolation and encourage social participation and integration in the community;
• Develop a sense of belonging to one’s living environment.
